The cost of Question #1 has been reduced from $31.7 Million to $26.7 Million, with the District committing $5 Million in reserve funds to reduce the tax burden.

Between 2020 and 2023, the state’s Ag2School program will buy down the increase in taxes on agricultural land. If all three questions pass, owners of non-homesteaded agricultural land would see a modest tax increase of $1.97 annually per acre valued at $7,000, but the state would pay 78% of that increase by 2023 thanks to the Ag2School tax credit.
